The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a little luck, KFC Vliegplein's Mark Jansens got control of the ball when Hamit Ülger tried to sneak it across the goal line. Duman Elhan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustav Van den Bergh in the 8th minute of the match. KFC Vliegplein's Mark Jansens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cesur Demirbaş in the 9th minute of play. 10 minutes had been played when some careless play by KFC Vliegplein's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Orhan Semavi was slow to take the kick. During this time 68Aksarayspor's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Orhan Semavi got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Mark Jansens quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Mark Jansens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cesur Demirbaş, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. After 20 played minutes 68Aksarayspor got a freekick which was hit by İsrafil Bedi. Duman Elhan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustav Van den Bergh in the 22nd minute of the match. After 22 played minutes 68Aksarayspor got a freekick which was hit by Taci Tuğsavan. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thierry Nagels in the 28th minute of play forced 68Aksarayspor's goalkeeper Duman Elhan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gustav Van den Bergh hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. In the 38th minute Thierry Nagels shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Duman Elhan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 39 minutes into the match, 68Aksarayspor's goal looked a bit too open when Franck De Vriendt came free, but Duman Elhan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to KFC Vliegplein getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Norbert Suetens hit a great ball. Mark Jansens didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cesur Demirbaş went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

68Aksarayspor's Duman Elhan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save 68Aksarayspor from getting a goal against them. Mark Jansens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from İsrafil Bedi in the 56th minute of play. Duman Elhan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wesly Leenpoels, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 68Aksarayspor's Cesur Demirbaş got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 60th minute, Wesly Leenpoels hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 69th minute of the match KFC Vliegplein got a corner. 68Aksarayspor's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Wesly Leenpoels ran over to the corner to take the kick. If Christoffel Winnepenninck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mark Jansens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cesur Demirbaş in the 71st minute of the match. The supporters of 68Aksarayspor booed when KFC Vliegplein was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gregoire Claeys didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, KFC Vliegplein's Norbert Suetens got a free kick in the 81st minute. 68Aksarayspor's Cesur Demirbaş managed to work through KFC Vliegplein's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Cesur Demirbaş dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Gustav Van den Bergh took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Duman Elhan. Duman Elhan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. In the 90th minute, İsrafil Bedi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by İsrafil Bedi during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 90 played minutes 68Aksarayspor got a freekick which was hit by İsrafil Bedi. After 96 minutes, Waut Van Hoof mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the KFC Vliegplein and the 68Aksarayspor players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 96th match minute, KFC Vliegplein was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Waut Van Hoof to maneuver through the defense. For all the effort they put into the match, the KFC Vliegplein players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for 68Aksarayspor.
