The audience was convinced that Obi Blue's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aurelio Nafarroa was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. Aurelio Nafarroa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Obi Blue in the 23rd minute of the match. Guillermo Raiz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aurelio Nafarroa having to interfere. In the 31st minute Yiyo Corono shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurelio Nafarroa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aquiles Bakar hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Cain Blue fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aurelio Nafarroa having to interfere. Aurelio Nafarroa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Obi Blue's shot from short distance in the 48th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Cain Blue made the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes ✴ ᑭᕮᒪᑌᑕᕼᕮ ✴ got a freekick which was hit by Evelio Olo. 55 minutes into the game, Aquiles Bakar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ✴ ᑭᕮᒪᑌᑕᕼᕮ ✴'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave West Town SC the free kick. A collision led to ✴ ᑭᕮᒪᑌᑕᕼᕮ ✴ getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Aquiles Bakar hit a great ball. Aurelio Nafarroa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guillermo Raiz, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Guillermo Raiz kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. 73 minutes into the game, West Town SC's Cain Blue nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aurelio Nafarroa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0.
