Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cain Blue to make the kick off. After 64 played minutes, Montechiarugolo AFC's Ferruccio Caretti shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Villegas Pardaves came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Montechiarugolo AFC reached it. 68 minutes into the match, Montechiarugolo AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Ledesma Caicedo came free, but Domenico Tenaglia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Montechiarugolo AFC booed when West Town SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guillermo Raiz didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 94th minute of the match Francesco Tacco shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Villegas Pardaves showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When the match was over West Town SC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Montechiarugolo AFC throughout the match.
