In the 3rd minute of the match, Menderes Tekdoğan got a very nice opportunity to score, but Wincenty Balkiewicz was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 4th minute Slawomir Mentus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Furkan Gurbet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Menderes Tekdoğan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wincenty Balkiewicz having to interfere. In the 9th minute, Menderes Tekdoğan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sarı kaya FK's Furkan Gurbet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wojciech Molski in the 10th minute of play. Mustafa Necati Başok struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Wincenty Balkiewicz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sarı kaya FK. Wincenty Balkiewicz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mustafa Necati Başok, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 17thth minute of the game Slawomir Mentus who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sarı kaya FK's Furkan Gurbet was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Furkan Gurbet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Slawomir Mentus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Furkan Gurbet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cyprian Logewnik, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. 24 minutes into the game, Wojciech Molski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Furkan Gurbet was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mustafa Necati Başok kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. 36 minutes into the match, Wojciech Molski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Furkan Gurbet. Sarı kaya FK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wojciech Molski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After 39 played minutes Sarı kaya FK got a freekick which was hit by Taro Misaki.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Wojciech Molski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Edip Demirtekin lost his temper 55 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Yaser Memduh's late challenge caught a The Irons Chorzów's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Yaser Memduh helped the player get up and apologised. In the 62nd minute, Yaser Memduh hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee showed Slawomir Mentus the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 77 played minutes The Irons Chorzów got a freekick which was hit by Slawomir Mentus. 83 minutes into the match, Mustafa Necati Başok had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wincenty Balkiewicz. The Irons Chorzów's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mustafa Necati Başok was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Sarı kaya FK's Furkan Gurbet proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Sarı kaya FK from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, The Irons Chorzów's Alfred Sroki got a free kick in the 91st minute. The The Irons Chorzów supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing The Irons Chorzów would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
