Valdo de Queirós was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Evandro Maia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Inácio Cortez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Inácio Cortez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evandro Maia in the 23rd minute of the match. A collision led to Sabadim Harammes PRD getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Rúben Alvarenga hit a great ball. Rúben Alvarenga charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rúben Alvarenga the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Rúben Alvarenga hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Valdo de Queirós showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amílcar Mourinho, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. After a rather tough play, Sabadim Harammes PRD's Rúben Alvarenga got a free kick in the 34th minute. Alexandre Palhares kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. When Cássio Cortez fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sabadim Harammes PRD's protests and gave Cássio Cortez a yellow card for diving instead. Cássio Cortez took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Valdo de Queirós. Valdo de Queirós dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Belmiro Sanches took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Inácio Cortez. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Belmiro Sanches made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cássio Cortez in the 52nd minute of play forced EDI MZB's goalkeeper Valdo de Queirós to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 53 minutes into the game, Leonel Brochado cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1.
