The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 32nd match minute, FC Wil 1900 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roland Cirella to maneuver through the defense. FC Wil 1900's defense didn't have a chance, in the 33rd minute, when Patryk Lizewski scored to the left of an out of position Yanic Kulenovic, making the score, 1-0. Jedrzej Szpakowski's late challenge caught a FC Wil 1900's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. One of LKS Wasik Lidzbark:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FC Wil 1900:s goal. The referee gave FC Wil 1900 a penalty, 48 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Reinhard Eichel, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of LKS Wasik Lidzbark's Ziemowit Lipinski. 1-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vagner Penisson to strike the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the match, LKS Wasik Lidzbark's goalkeeper Ziemowit Lipinski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adam Hinnen. Yanic Kulenovic took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Czeslaw Wykowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zachary Modrzewski took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Yanic Kulenovic. Yanic Kulenovic dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. 91 minutes into the game, Adam Hinnen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Wil 1900's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave LKS Wasik Lidzbark the free kick.
