The Recolta Alamor fans' excitement grew in the 16th match minute when Recolta Alamor's Tyson Helton looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 19th minute, Tyson Helton made a precise shot to the right of Yanic Kulenovic. FC Wil 1900's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. 25 minutes into the game, Recolta Alamor's Tyson Helton nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Yanic Kulenovic made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Dylan Beckman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vagner Penisson, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. A hard shot by Reinhard Eichel from long distance, 44 minutes into the match, got Dylan Beckman's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Lucas Vargas hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. After the first half Recolta Alamor were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Tyson Helton made the kick off in the second half. FC Wil 1900 were awarded a corner in the 54th minute after Recolta Alamor's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Reinhard Eichel took the corner. The corner led FC Wil 1900's Reinhard Eichel to fire away a dangerous shot which Dylan Beckman despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Dylan Beckman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roland Cirella, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. FC Wil 1900's defense didn't have a chance, in the 58th minute, when Rex Ellis scored to the left of an out of position Yanic Kulenovic, making the score, 1-4. After a rather tough play, FC Wil 1900's Karim Gerber got a free kick in the 62nd minute. 66 minutes into the match, Roland Cirella notched a goal, 2-4, to the right of Recolta Alamor's Dylan Beckman. Dylan Beckman was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Recolta Alamor's Tuan Mason got a free kick in the 69th minute. Recolta Alamor's Rupert Simmons was substituted for Felipe Jacques. Adam Hinnen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Rex Ellis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Yanic Kulenovic was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Recolta Alamor had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
