After 71 played minutes Nova Iguaçu MZFC got a freekick which was hit by Luisão Matorin. The crowd rose to their feet as Cássio Aparecido kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Fulvio Patricelli. That made the score 0-4 in the 79 minute of play. 82 minutes into the game, Frank Carlucci was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. S.S.C. NAPOLI's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nova Iguaçu MZFC the free kick.
