After a rather tough play, Nova Iguaçu MZFC's Luiz Fábio Leme got a free kick in the 6th minute. 13 minutes had been played when some careless play by Nova Iguaçu MZFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Kerem Civan was slow to take the kick. During this time Fidan SK's players had a chance to rest. After 14 minutes Nova Iguaçu MZFC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Kerem Civan who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Kerem Civan almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Nova Iguaçu MZFC's Lúcio Domingues did a great save. Lúcio Domingues made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kerem Civan in the 17th minute. If Güney Ferhat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kerem Civan who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 22ndth minute tested the skills of Lúcio Domingues when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Torres Mo hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Lúcio Domingues showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Güney Ferhat in the 23rd minute of the match. After 25 minutes, Mutlu Özaltın mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fidan SK and the Nova Iguaçu MZFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Cássio Aparecido blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Melih Cevdet Peker having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Benjamim Negri in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Melih Cevdet Peker prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Melih Cevdet Peker took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cássio Aparecido, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ahmet Davut Terim's late challenge caught a Nova Iguaçu MZFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ahmet Davut Terim helped the player get up and apologised. In the 42nd match minute, Fidan SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ahmet Davut Terim to maneuver through the defense. Nova Iguaçu MZFC's Lúcio Domingues proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Nova Iguaçu MZFC from getting a goal against them. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Uğurcan Hedef to strike the kick off in the second half. 50 minutes into the game, Güney Ferhat was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fidan SK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nova Iguaçu MZFC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Fidan SK's Güney Ferhat got a free kick in the 50th minute. In the 54thth minute of the game Kerem Civan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nova Iguaçu MZFC's Lúcio Domingues was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Fidan SK's Mustafa Hamit Koral got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mutlu Özaltın recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 60th match minute, Nova Iguaçu MZFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Torres Mo to maneuver through the defense. Fidan SK's Uğurcan Hedef got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lúcio Domingues showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Uğurcan Hedef, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Lúcio Domingues took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Uğurcan Hedef, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fidan SK were awarded a corner in the 69th minute after Nova Iguaçu MZFC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Kerem Civan took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Mustafa Hamit Koral got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Lúcio Domingues quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Fidan SK's Melih Cevdet Peker proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Fidan SK from getting a goal against them. In the 74th minute Mutlu Özaltın shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lúcio Domingues saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Uğurcan Hedef came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Fidan SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Uğurcan Hedef couldn't finish the play. 79 minutes into the game, Uğurcan Hedef cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Lúcio Domingues was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Güney Ferhat in the 84th minute of play forced Nova Iguaçu MZFC's goalkeeper Lúcio Domingues to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kerem Civan in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lúcio Domingues prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Güney Ferhat in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lúcio Domingues saved Nova Iguaçu MZFC from getting behind. 91 minutes into the match, Nova Iguaçu MZFC's goal looked a bit too open when Güney Ferhat came free, but Lúcio Domingues reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 92 minutes into the game, Tomás Marques was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nova Iguaçu MZFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fidan SK the free kick. In the 92nd match minute, Nova Iguaçu MZFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomás Marques to maneuver through the defense. Melih Cevdet Peker made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cássio Aparecido in the 95th minute of play. Nova Iguaçu MZFC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
