After a rather tough play, Fidan SK's Kerem Civan got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Güney Ferhat received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Yanic Kulenovic came out and tried to block the shot, but Güney Ferhat slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 10th minute. Kerem Civan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 16 minutes into the match, FC Wil 1900's goal looked a bit too open when Güney Ferhat came free, but Yanic Kulenovic reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Melih Cevdet Peker made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roland Cirella in the 21st minute of play. Melih Cevdet Peker showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roland Cirella, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. 46 minutes into the game, Rüstem Yaybüke was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fidan SK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Wil 1900 the free kick. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vagner Penisson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Mehmet Fatih Bircan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 54 minutes, Güney Ferhat managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fidan SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Güney Ferhat was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Melih Cevdet Peker made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roland Cirella in the 61st minute of play. Fidan SK's Melih Cevdet Peker played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roland Cirella in the 64th minute of play. Yanic Kulenovic showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kerem Civan, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Bahtiyar Sururi hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Melih Cevdet Peker made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vagner Penisson in the 67th minute of play. Tran Brünisholz hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. When Işık Rusuhi came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Fidan SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Işık Rusuhi couldn't finish the play. In the 72nd minute Kerem Civan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yanic Kulenovic saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fidan SK's Melih Cevdet Peker proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Fidan SK from getting a goal against them. Yanic Kulenovic made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Güney Ferhat in the 76th minute of play. Kerem Civan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Yanic Kulenovic tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Karim Gerber had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vagner Penisson in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Melih Cevdet Peker saved Fidan SK from getting behind. Güney Ferhat blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Yanic Kulenovic having to make a save. 94 minutes into the match, Fidan SK's goalkeeper Melih Cevdet Peker had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vagner Penisson. Vagner Penisson got in the 94th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Melih Cevdet Peker handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Fidan SK's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
