A collision led to Anderbye FC getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Ricardinho Correia hit a great ball. In the 6th minute Roger Platt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno de Amaral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Harvey Paget was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ricardinho Correia showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 10 minute of play. When the match had gone on for 14 minutes, Roger Platt put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Bruno de Amaral. In the 22nd minute, Paul Francis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Anderbye FC's Nestor Ramalho got a free kick in the 29th minute. Bruno de Amaral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Johnathan Morse in the 35th minute of play. In the 38th minute, Roger Platt made a precise shot to the right of Bruno de Amaral. Anderbye FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. After having played for 40 minutes, Roger Platt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ampthill FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roger Platt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Ampthill FC's zone, Ricardinho Correia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Harvey Paget came out of the goal and Ricardinho Correia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Larry Hallam hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. The Anderbye FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ampthill FC were winning 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Roger Platt made a kick off. Roger Platt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Bruno de Amaral made a huge save. Ricardinho Correia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Roger Platt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno de Amaral having to interfere. Johnathan Morse received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Bruno de Amaral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ricardinho Correia hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. 74 minutes into the match, Roger Platt dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Bruno de Amaral, 1-4. After 81 minutes of play, Anderbye FC's Ricardinho Correia made it 2-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net.
