Spectators: 7737 (Terracing: 5804, Seating: 1779, VIP seats: 154) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Feliberto Manuelo took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 5 played minutes Montesacro FC got a freekick which was hit by Alberigo Colaneri. Aquiles Meo hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. In the 7th minute, Guillermo Barros Schelloto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Montesacro FC defense, Feliberto Manuelo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Beppe Cannavacciuolo. The Montesacro FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Beppe Cannavacciuolo should have stopped the shot. Martin-Daniel Palermo took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Beppe Cannavacciuolo. Beppe Cannavacciuolo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Beppe Cannavacciuolo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guillermo Barros Schelloto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 20th minute, Lengua de Lobo's Albano Gilen seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Albano Gilen the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Lengua de Lobo protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Albano Gilen had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After a rather tough play, Lengua de Lobo's Albano Gilen got a free kick in the 20th minute. In the 26th minute, Guillermo Barros Schelloto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Beppe Cannavacciuolo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guillermo Barros Schelloto in the 32nd minute of the match. Montesacro FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 38th minute, when Guillermo Barros Schelloto scored to the left of an out of position Beppe Cannavacciuolo, making the score, 4-1. The supporters of Lengua de Lobo booed when Montesacro FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ferruccio Domenici didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Lengua de Lobo getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Romulo Confesor hit a great ball. Lengua de Lobo's Agustin Rossi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniele Tabacco in the 47th minute of play. Feliberto Manuelo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Ciro Di Martino made the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Montesacro FC defense, Guillermo Barros Schelloto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Beppe Cannavacciuolo. The Montesacro FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Beppe Cannavacciuolo should have stopped the shot. Edmondo Monzeglio lost his temper 65 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 65 minutes into the game, one of Montesacro FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 67th minute there was a penalty for Lengua de Lobo. Martin-Daniel Palermo stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Beppe Cannavacciuolo. 6-1. Beppe Cannavacciuolo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Feliberto Manuelo went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-1 was the resulting score. Guillermo Barros Schelloto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Aquiles Meo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aquiles Meo in the 82nd minute of play forced Montesacro FC's goalkeeper Beppe Cannavacciuolo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Igor Xacintu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Beppe Cannavacciuolo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Feliberto Manuelo in the 88th minute of the match. 90 minutes had been played when some careless play by Montesacro FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Martin-Daniel Palermo was slow to take the kick. During this time Lengua de Lobo's players had a chance to rest. Martin-Daniel Palermo hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Montesacro FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
