Ralles Bollklubb's Augustus Batalla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Neves in the 16th minute of play. Bror Hanmark fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Henriques having to interfere. José Neves could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Augustus Batalla made a huge save. When Johannes Ahlquist fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ralles Bollklubb's protests and gave Johannes Ahlquist a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Suprs Academia booed when Ralles Bollklubb was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Johannes Ahlquist didn't get a good kick on the ball. Augustus Batalla acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 24th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Ron Aldo. Augustus Batalla was a little too slow when José Neves got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 26th minute. The score was now 1-2. After 34 minutes of play, Ralles Bollklubb's Marcus Wester made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. José Henriques was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcus Wester in the 37th minute of play forced Suprs Academia's goalkeeper José Henriques to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 40thth minute of the game Bror Hanmark who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Suprs Academia's José Henriques was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 43 minutes into the match, Marcus Wester notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of Suprs Academia's José Henriques. José Henriques was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind Suprs Academia's goalkeeper José Henriques, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After the first half Ralles Bollklubb were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tobias Taveira stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Lúcio Curado struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Ralles Bollklubb's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 74th minute Bror Hanmark shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Henriques saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mariano Tavares during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
