In the 5th match minute, Anderbye FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cido Pimenta to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Anderbye FC's Nestor Ramalho got a free kick in the 6th minute. Bruno de Amaral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Goffredo, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adilson Proença in the 9th minute of play forced Montesacro FC's goalkeeper Beppe Cannavacciuolo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bruno de Amaral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniele Tabacco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 16th minute, Frank Scarcella ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bruno de Amaral was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Ricardinho Correia took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Beppe Cannavacciuolo. Beppe Cannavacciuolo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. In the 23rdth minute of the game Anfilogino Imperiale who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Anderbye FC's Bruno de Amaral was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bruno de Amaral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Scarcella in the 25th minute of the match. In the 25th minute Frank Scarcella shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno de Amaral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Armandinho Abreu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Beppe Cannavacciuolo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alberto Goffredo during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Alberto Goffredo hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. The supporters of Montesacro FC booed when Anderbye FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adilson Proença didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ricardinho Correia received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Beppe Cannavacciuolo came out and tried to block the shot, but Ricardinho Correia slotted it home off the left post making it 3-1 in the 43rd minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Frank Scarcella to strike the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Anderbye FC's Bruno de Amaral got control of the ball when Frank Scarcella tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 59th minute, Ricardinho Correia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Beppe Cannavacciuolo was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. Anfilogino Imperiale took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bruno de Amaral. Bruno de Amaral dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-3. Frank Scarcella sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 76 minutes into the match, Anderbye FC's goal looked a bit too open when Daniele Tabacco came free, but Bruno de Amaral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Frank Scarcella's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Bruno de Amaral firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 81st minute, Edmondo Monzeglio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 85 minutes into the match, Anderbye FC's goalkeeper Bruno de Amaral had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniele Tabacco. Adilson Proença kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. 91 minutes had been played when some careless play by Anderbye FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Alberto Goffredo was slow to take the kick. During this time Montesacro FC's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Alberto Goffredo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Bruno de Amaral quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Daniele Tabacco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Bruno de Amaral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Montesacro FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
