Martín Izquierdo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alptuğ Rahim went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. With 17 minutes on the clock, Gürsel Çelenkoğlu commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. When Benjamin Izquierdo came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Martin Palermo F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benjamin Izquierdo couldn't finish the play. Songur Karataş succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 21st playminute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isaac Perrando in the 27th minute of play forced ÇATALHÖYÜK Gençlik Klübü's goalkeeper Vahap Tezcan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 28th minute, Isaac Perrando left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Martin Palermo F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. With a little luck, Martin Palermo F.C.'s Martín Izquierdo got control of the ball when Alptuğ Rahim tried to sneak it across the goal line. The wind increased when Isaac Perrando made the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Martin Palermo F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Songur Karataş came free, but Martín Izquierdo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vahap Tezcan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benjamin Izquierdo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 58th minute, Alptuğ Rahim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Santos Rocio got free with Vahap Tezcan in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match had gone on for 60 minutes, Songur Karataş put it in 4-1 from a short distance just to the right of Martín Izquierdo. If Santos Rocio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Martin Palermo F.C. booed when ÇATALHÖYÜK Gençlik Klübü was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position.
