Arturo Furman's late challenge caught a Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The supporters of Sporting Clube V.R.S.A. booed when Belgrano LOS PIRATAS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eusebio Leoiar didn't get a good kick on the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Silvano Morais made the kick off in the second half. Gastão Cesário took the ball and in the 51 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gavino Osorio. Manuel Valadão scored 4-0 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gavino Osorio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Hamilton Poças took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alejo Elizardo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 64 minutes into the match, Gastão Cesário had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gavino Osorio. Belgrano LOS PIRATAS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gastão Cesário was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. When Alejo Elizardo fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Belgrano LOS PIRATAS's protests and gave Alejo Elizardo a yellow card for diving instead. Gastão Cesário scored 6-0 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gavino Osorio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gavino Osorio was left in no man's land by his defense there! Sporting Clube V.R.S.A. walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
