Spectators: 7736 (Terracing: 5803, Seating: 1779, VIP seats: 154) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Chu Tasso kicked off to start the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Chu Tasso in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hamilton Poças saved Sporting Clube V.R.S.A. from getting behind. 6 minutes had been played when some careless play by Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Anton Ekblom was slow to take the kick. During this time Tasso FC's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Juca Tasso managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. A collision led to Tasso FC getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Machado Assis hit a great ball. After having played for 20 minutes, Chu Tasso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tasso FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Chu Tasso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hamilton Poças showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chu Tasso, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Chu Tasso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Hamilton Poças took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chu Tasso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Tasso FC's Chu Tasso, in the 25th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Tasso FC. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Chu Tasso in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hamilton Poças prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Anton Ekblom hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s Hamilton Poças played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chu Tasso in the 30th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Chu Tasso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tasso FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Chu Tasso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hamilton Poças breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Chu Tasso blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hamilton Poças having to make a save. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Machado Assis kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Hamilton Poças stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Chu Tasso's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Tasso FC's Chu Tasso slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Hamilton Poças. That made the score 0-1 after 60 minutes of play. In the 66th minute, Chu Tasso made a precise shot to the right of Hamilton Poças. Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After 69 played minutes Chu Tasso rounded Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Chu Tasso got free with Hamilton Poças in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 75 played minutes Sporting Clube V.R.S.A. got a freekick which was hit by Manuel Valadão. Tasso FC's Chu Tasso got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tasso FC's David Gilmour was substituted for Pinto Valer. Richard Dawkins's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hamilton Poças read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. When Gregório Pereira fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s protests and gave Gregório Pereira a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Tasso FC booed when Sporting Clube V.R.S.A. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gregório Pereira didn't get a good kick on the ball. The throw-in from Leal Leitão in the 88th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Tasso FC's Severiano Torcato. In the 88th minute, Richard Dawkins got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 90th minute of the match, Isaio Cobarrubias tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Hamilton Poças saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 91st minute of the match Tasso FC got a corner. Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Anton Ekblom ran over to the corner to take the kick. Richard Dawkins sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When %teams%'s Richard Dawkins was free in front of goal, he didn't hesitate to shoot 0-4 just inside the left pole, 95 minutes into the game. Hamilton Poças was annoyed at himself for letting in the shot.
