An unexpectedly hard shot by Dave Paoletti in the 3rd minute of play forced Atletico Maturrango's goalkeeper Bayındır Otay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Achille Fiordelisi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Haitz Peruyera in the 4th minute. The supporters of Talenti Roma Calcio booed when Atletico Maturrango was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ciriaco Valiño didn't get a good kick on the ball. Atletico Maturrango's Bayındır Otay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dave Paoletti in the 9th minute of play. Achille Fiordelisi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Atletico Maturrango's Bayındır Otay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antonio Teodori in the 16th minute of play. Bayındır Otay came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Talenti Roma Calcio's Antonio Teodori. But to his dismay, Antonio Teodori quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Bayındır Otay didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bernardo Garofoli went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Bayındır Otay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dave Paoletti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Talenti Roma Calcio were awarded a corner in the 24th minute after Atletico Maturrango's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Dave Paoletti took the corner. 26 minutes into the game, Daniel Palomar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Atletico Maturrango's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Talenti Roma Calcio the free kick. Daniel Palomar hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. 28 minutes into the match, Atletico Maturrango's Haitz Peruyera sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Achille Fiordelisi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Atletico Maturrango's Raitin Salvia got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bayındır Otay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antonio Teodori in the 35th minute of the match. Antonio Teodori scored 0-3 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bayındır Otay, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Antonio Teodori hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. After the first half Talenti Roma Calcio were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 65th minute of the match Atletico Maturrango got a corner. Talenti Roma Calcio's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ciriaco Valiño ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Atletico Maturrango's Ciriaco Valiño to fire away a dangerous shot which Achille Fiordelisi despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 66 minutes into the match, Talenti Roma Calcio's goal looked a bit too open when Milian Cañete came free, but Achille Fiordelisi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 68th minute, Daniel Palomar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 69 played minutes Atletico Maturrango got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Oksby. If Dave Paoletti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. During the 71st minute of the match Daniel Palomar completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Daniel Palomar a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 72 played minutes Atletico Maturrango got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Palomar. 73 minutes into the match, Atletico Maturrango's goalkeeper Bayındır Otay had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Antonio Teodori. Ciriaco Valiño kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. If Raitin Salvia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Atletico Maturrango getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Ciriaco Valiño hit a great ball. Orlin Hinojosa hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Talenti Roma Calcio's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
