An unexpectedly hard shot by Manuel Valadão in the 3rd minute of play forced La Pachorra LSF's goalkeeper Marciano Quintyn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 4 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Aldo Lauro sped through Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dimas Palmeira. Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s Dimas Palmeira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Sporting Clube V.R.S.A. from getting a goal against them. Marciano Quintyn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcos Mourão, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. After some careless play in the La Pachorra LSF defense, Marcos Mourão kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marciano Quintyn. The La Pachorra LSF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marciano Quintyn should have stopped the shot. Dimas Palmeira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aldo Lauro in the 16th minute. Gastão Cesário fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marciano Quintyn having to interfere. Aldo Lauro's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 29thth minute, Dimas Palmeira skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Marciano Quintyn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manuel Valadão in the 31st minute of the match. 32 minutes into the match, La Pachorra LSF's goal looked a bit too open when Gastão Cesário came free, but Marciano Quintyn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 33 minutes into the game, Éder Rios was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave La Pachorra LSF the free kick. In the 37th minute Aldo Lauro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dimas Palmeira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 39 minutes into the game, Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s Gastão Cesário nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marciano Quintyn made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marcos Mourão to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Sporting Clube V.R.S.A. getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Manuel Valadão hit a great ball. Gastão Cesário charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gastão Cesário the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 52nd minute, Gastão Cesário hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marciano Quintyn came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s Gastão Cesário. But to his dismay, Gastão Cesário quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. In the 66th minute, Artemio Olayo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 68th minute of the game. One of Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of La Pachorra LSF:s goal. 71 minutes into the game, Aldo Lauro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Dimas Palmeira was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 75 minutes into the match, La Pachorra LSF's goalkeeper Marciano Quintyn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gastão Cesário. In the 76th minute Manuel Valadão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marciano Quintyn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, La Pachorra LSF's Urbano Tano got a free kick in the 77th minute. Marciano Quintyn acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 78th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Silvano Meireles. In the 79th minute Marcos Mourão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marciano Quintyn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 80 minutes into the match, La Pachorra LSF's goalkeeper Marciano Quintyn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gastão Cesário. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Aldo Lauro managed to get in a good position for a shot. La Pachorra LSF's supporters rose to their feet, but Aldo Lauro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dimas Palmeira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Artemio Olayo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. La Pachorra LSF's defense didn't have a chance, in the 85th minute, when Gastão Cesário scored to the left of an out of position Marciano Quintyn, making the score, 2-4. In the 89th minute, Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s Manuel Valadão ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Marciano Quintyn. Marciano Quintyn yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-5. In the 93rd minute, Silvano Meireles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aldo Lauro in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dimas Palmeira saved Sporting Clube V.R.S.A. from getting behind. The La Pachorra LSF supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s performance. The match ended with a win for Sporting Clube V.R.S.A..
