Damián Martínez was left in no man's land by his defense there! Juvenal Nóbrega kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. With a little luck, Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s Dimas Palmeira got control of the ball when Alejo Elizardo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alejo Elizardo to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Alejo Elizardo made a precise shot to the right of Dimas Palmeira. Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Damián Martínez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marcos Mourão in the 56th minute. Dimas Palmeira came out of the goal and Alejo Elizardo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Silvano Meireless short, quick shot in the 84thth minute got Damián Martínez to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 88th minute of the match, Manuel Valadão tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Damián Martínez saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When Octavio Paskal fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Belgrano LOS PIRATAS's protests and gave Octavio Paskal a yellow card for diving instead. When the match had gone on for 93 minutes, Manuel Valadão took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Damián Martínez to make any attempt to save it. Sporting Clube V.R.S.A. played a much better game than Belgrano LOS PIRATAS and deserved their victory. The Belgrano LOS PIRATAS players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
