When Zac Ba Loua came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Rio Verde F.C CIMZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zac Ba Loua couldn't finish the play. In the 18th minute, Julian Dulka hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zac Ba Loua struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Remigiusz Madej didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rio Verde F.C CIMZ. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mariusz Ankiewicz got free with Paulo de Mendonça in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as MZetowe Mastodonty's Zbyszko Bartochowski slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Paulo de Mendonça. That made the score 1-0 after 33 minutes of play. Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's Paulo de Mendonça proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Rio Verde F.C CIMZ from getting a goal against them. After 47 played minutes Rio Verde F.C CIMZ got a freekick which was hit by Germano Domingues. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Paulo de Mendonça showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zbyszko Bartochowski in the 52nd minute of the match. 54 minutes into the match, Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's Zac Ba Loua sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Remigiusz Madej narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicolas França in the 55th minute of play forced MZetowe Mastodonty's goalkeeper Remigiusz Madej to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
