Spectators: 7650 (Terracing: 5739, Seating: 1759, VIP seats: 152) In the 4th minute Nikos Moustos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jaroslav Mlejnek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 5 minutes into the match, Vladimír Adam had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Manos Papaiakovou. Go Ahead Eagles's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vladimír Adam was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. When Vladimír Adam came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the FC Chorchoj fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vladimír Adam couldn't finish the play. Jaroslav Mlejnek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Giotis Kouloucheris in the 15th minute of the match. FC Chorchoj's Jaroslav Mlejnek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giotis Kouloucheris in the 16th minute of play. Christodoulos Vazakas was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 18 minutes into the match. Christodoulos Vazakas hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Herbert Konečný recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jaroslav Mlejnek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nikos Moustos in the 22nd minute of play. When Josef Jochec fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Chorchoj's protests and gave Josef Jochec a yellow card for diving instead. Giotis Kouloucheris struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Jaroslav Mlejnek didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Go Ahead Eagles. 26 minutes into the game, Gerasimos Kallitsis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Go Ahead Eagles's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Chorchoj the free kick. After 26 played minutes Go Ahead Eagles got a freekick which was hit by Gerasimos Kallitsis. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vladimír Adam got free with Manos Papaiakovou in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Go Ahead Eagles getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Manos Christodoulou hit a great ball. A collision led to FC Chorchoj getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Přemek Štolba hit a great ball. Go Ahead Eagles's Ntinos Vounatsos got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. FC Chorchoj's Jaroslav Mlejnek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manos Christodoulou in the 47th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

After a rather tough play, Go Ahead Eagles's Apostolos Antoniou got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Manos Papaiakovou showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vladimír Adam, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Panagiotis Bourousis during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Go Ahead Eagles's Panagiotis Bourousis got a free kick in the 56th minute. Jindřich Andrýsek scored 2-0 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Manos Papaiakovou, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Vladimír Adam kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. FC Chorchoj's Jaroslav Mlejnek proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save FC Chorchoj from getting a goal against them. In the 70th minute, Radko Mikulenka hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 71 minutes into the match, Go Ahead Eagles's Ntinos Vounatsos broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vladimír Adam in the 73rd minute of play forced Go Ahead Eagles's goalkeeper Manos Papaiakovou to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Go Ahead Eagles's Manos Papaiakovou played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Radko Mikulenka in the 75th minute of play. Manos Papaiakovou came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Chorchoj's Radko Mikulenka. But to his dismay, Radko Mikulenka quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. In the 79th match minute, Go Ahead Eagles was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Apostolos Antoniou to maneuver through the defense. Manos Papaiakovou stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vladimír Adam's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. Panagiotis Bourousis got his second yellow card in the match during the 87th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 89th minute, Panagiotis Bourousis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, FC Chorchoj's Josef Jochec got a free kick in the 89th minute. After 94 played minutes Go Ahead Eagles got a freekick which was hit by Periklis Vakalis. There was no doubt that FC Chorchoj were the better team. FC Chorchoj's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
