After 18 minutes of play, Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's Zac Ba Loua made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jaroslav Mlejnek was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Marek Fiřt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vladimír Adam in the 26th minute of play forced Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's goalkeeper Paulo de Mendonça to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jaroslav Mlejnek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zac Ba Loua in the 29th minute of the match. In the 30th minute Zac Ba Loua shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jaroslav Mlejnek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 39th minute, Herbert Konečný hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cássio Pimenta struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Rio Verde F.C CIMZ reached it. Nicolas França took the ball and in the 48 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jaroslav Mlejnek. Jaroslav Mlejnek dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Herbert Konečný took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 65th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Paulo de Mendonça. Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 80 minutes, Ke Chang Lin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rio Verde F.C CIMZ and the FC Chorchoj players grew even worse after the yellow card.
