Ntinos Vounatsos ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Ntinos Vounatsos got away a dangerous shot. Despite this 任兴阳 quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Apostolos Antoniou charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Apostolos Antoniou the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Apostolos Antoniou hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Go Ahead Eagles's Manos Papaiakovou played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 王奕朗 in the 35th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Go Ahead Eagles's Ntinos Vounatsos got a free kick in the 38th minute. In the 38th minute of the match 龚适文 shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Manos Papaiakovou showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. With his leg 任兴阳 managed to avoid a goal in the 47thth minute, when Go Ahead Eagles's Takis Chatzivrettas fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Takis Chatzivrettas made the kick off in the second half. 武树桦 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 53rd minute, Giotis Kouloucheris ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. 任兴阳 was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Manos Papaiakovou was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but 龚适文 showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-2 in the 59 minute of play. In the 62nd minute, 龚适文 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 任兴阳 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Takis Chatzivrettas in the 65th minute of the match. In the 82nd match minute, 蚂蚁在路上 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 龚适文 to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 84 minutes, 曹源德 managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. 蚂蚁在路上's supporters crossed their fingers, but 曹源德 was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of 蚂蚁在路上 booed when Go Ahead Eagles was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ntinos Vounatsos didn't get a good kick on the ball. 龚适文's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Manos Papaiakovou read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. After 90 minutes of play, 蚂蚁在路上's 曹源德 made it 3-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Manos Papaiakovou was left in no man's land by his defense there! 曹源德 could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Manos Papaiakovou made a huge save. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the 蚂蚁在路上 players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
