Thomás do Valle took the ball and in the 5 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Manos Papaiakovou. Manos Papaiakovou dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 7th minute, Thomás do Valle left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rio Verde F.C CIMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Manos Papaiakovou came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's Thomás do Valle. But to his dismay, Thomás do Valle quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. After 13 played minutes Go Ahead Eagles got a freekick which was hit by Ntinos Vounatsos. Manos Papaiakovou took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thomás do Valle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Go Ahead Eagles's Manos Papaiakovou played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thomás do Valle in the 15th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Panagiotis Bourousis got free with Paulo de Mendonça in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Júlio Negri scored 0-4 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Manos Papaiakovou, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Manos Papaiakovou showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zac Ba Loua, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zac Ba Loua in the 26th minute of play forced Go Ahead Eagles's goalkeeper Manos Papaiakovou to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Manos Papaiakovou showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thomás do Valle in the 28th minute of the match. With a little luck, Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's Paulo de Mendonça got control of the ball when Manos Christodoulou tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 33 minutes of play, Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's Zac Ba Loua made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Manos Papaiakovou was left in no man's land by his defense there! Manos Papaiakovou showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thomás do Valle, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Júlio Negri scored 0-6 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Manos Papaiakovou, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 41st minute, Panagiotis Bourousis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Manos Papaiakovou made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christoffer Kempel in the 42nd minute of play. Go Ahead Eagles's Manos Papaiakovou played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thomás do Valle in the 43rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Júlio Negri in the 46th minute of play forced Go Ahead Eagles's goalkeeper Manos Papaiakovou to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Manos Papaiakovou made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Júlio Negri in the 47th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-6 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Panagiotis Bourousis to strike the kick off in the second half. Júlio Negri was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 52nd minute. Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Manos Papaiakovou took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cleiton Cosme, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Júlio Negri in the 60th minute of play forced Go Ahead Eagles's goalkeeper Manos Papaiakovou to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Manos Papaiakovou took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Júlio Negri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's Paulo de Mendonça played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nikos Moustos in the 66th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Go Ahead Eagles's Panagiotis Beloukas got a free kick in the 68th minute. Manos Papaiakovou was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Thomás do Valle showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-7 in the 70 minute of play. Christoffer Kempel hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Paulo de Mendonça showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Panagiotis Bourousis, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Paulo de Mendonça took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nikos Moustos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Manos Papaiakovou showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thomás do Valle in the 86th minute of the match. Christodoulos Vazakas kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice moves Zac Ba Loua could shoot a difficult shot in the 88th minute, which Manos Papaiakovou however easily saved by the left post. With an all-out effort, Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's Manos Papaiakovou threw himself towards the right post 93 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Christoffer Kempel, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 94 minutes into the match, Go Ahead Eagles's goalkeeper Manos Papaiakovou had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Júlio Negri. When the match was over Rio Verde F.C CIMZ could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Go Ahead Eagles throughout the match.
