Pedro Mazza came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by El Fortín de Floresta's Necaettin Sahir. But to his dismay, Necaettin Sahir quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After 33 minutes of play, Fabiofs's Milton Friedman made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Carolo Naelio was left in no man's land by his defense there! Conrado Bernat could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Pedro Mazza made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling 康益风 in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. El Fortín de Floresta's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fabiofs the free kick. In the 45th minute of the match Milton Friedman sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Carolo Naelio skillfully saved the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Elano de Salles to strike the kick off in the second half. Daniel Bermudo hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. In the 62nd minute Conrado Bernat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Mazza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pedro Mazza showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 92 minutes into the match, El Fortín de Floresta's goal looked a bit too open when Tomás de Castro came free, but Carolo Naelio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
