When the match had gone on for 42 minutes, Miro Klose took a quick shot and it went in 5-0 without a chance for Douglas Tasso to make any attempt to save it. In the 45th minute, Franco Catena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 48th minute, Adriano Coccia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Douglas Tasso was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 6-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Miro Klose to make the kick off. When FC Aquile Azzurre's Franco Catena in the 56th minute got a chance for a shot 56th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Douglas Tasso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adriano Coccia, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Douglas Tasso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miro Klose, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 98th minute, Miro Klose got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. FC Aquile Azzurre had won after a very even match.
