Pedro Mazza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joélson de Andrade, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. A collision led to Fabiofs getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Júlio Gaspar hit a great ball. In the 12th minute Christiano Matos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Mazza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Virgílio Lima took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elano de Salles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benjamin Arruda struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Virgílio Lima didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fabiofs. Fabiofs's Pedro Mazza proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Fabiofs from getting a goal against them. In the 24th match minute, Fabiofs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benjamin Arruda to maneuver through the defense. 31 minutes into the match, Fabiofs's goal looked a bit too open when Joélson de Andrade came free, but Pedro Mazza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 36 minutes into the match, Tomás de Castro notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Ique Football Club's Virgílio Lima. Virgílio Lima was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Milton Friedman took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Virgílio Lima. Virgílio Lima dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ique Football Club's goalkeeper Virgílio Lima, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 47 minutes into the game, Fabiofs's Tomás de Castro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Virgílio Lima made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Elano de Salles to make the kick off. In the 57th minute, Christiano Matos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Christiano Matos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Mazza read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. 59 minutes into the match, Christiano Matos notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of Fabiofs's Pedro Mazza. Pedro Mazza was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Virgílio Lima was out of position in the 64 minute of play, and Benjamin Arruda capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Benjamin Arruda really showed his touch with that goal: 1-5. With a little luck, Ique Football Club's Virgílio Lima got control of the ball when Gonçalo Massa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 74 minutes, Virgílio Lima successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Fabiano de Amaral hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. After 75 played minutes Fabiofs got a freekick which was hit by Gonçalo Massa. In the 77th play minute Milton Friedman came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Virgílio Lima. 1-6. The audience thought a goal was coming when Elano de Salles got free with Virgílio Lima in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 92nd minute, Joélson de Andrade hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 94 minutes into the game, Tomás de Castro recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Virgílio Lima. Tomás de Castro showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-7.
