Ferruccio Basile kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Miro Klose kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Virgílio Lima. That made the score 2-0 in the 14 minute of play. When Adriano Coccia fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Aquile Azzurre's protests and gave Adriano Coccia a yellow card for diving instead. In the 21st minute, Adriano Coccia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Angelo Peruzzi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joélson de Andrade, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Miro Klose in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Virgílio Lima prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 33rd match minute, FC Aquile Azzurre was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anfilogino Giorgio to maneuver through the defense. Armandinho de Barros got a throw-in 37 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Paulo José Secco. Miro Klose received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Virgílio Lima tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 43 minutes into the match, Ique Football Club's goalkeeper Virgílio Lima had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Miro Klose. Virgílio Lima took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miro Klose, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Miro Klose was the one to do the kick off. 66 minutes into the match, Adriano Coccia notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Ique Football Club's Virgílio Lima. Virgílio Lima was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Virgílio Lima showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cosimo Rondinelli in the 69th minute of the match. Anfilogino Giorgio's late challenge caught a Ique Football Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anfilogino Giorgio helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, FC Aquile Azzurre's Anfilogino Giorgio got a free kick in the 73rd minute. 77 minutes into the game, FC Aquile Azzurre's Miro Klose nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Virgílio Lima made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. FC Aquile Azzurre's Adriano Coccia managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Armandinho de Barros in the 81 minute of the game. Franco Catena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Virgílio Lima tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Virgílio Lima showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miro Klose, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. In the 92nd minute, Miro Klose left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Aquile Azzurre fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. 97 minutes into the game, Carmine Gori was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Aquile Azzurre's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ique Football Club the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 96th minute of the game. One of FC Aquile Azzurre:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ique Football Club:s goal. There was no doubt that FC Aquile Azzurre were the better team. FC Aquile Azzurre's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
