A collision led to Atletico Patoruzu getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Eliseo Cavazos hit a great ball. Atletico Patoruzu were furious when Calvin Rodriguez was red carded, 42 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 41st minute, one of Atletico Patoruzu:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Atletico Patoruzu. Goliath Gigante kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Christiano Matos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Connor Presley cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Virgílio Lima was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ique Football Club's Virgílio Lima played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tyrell Cochran in the 72nd minute of play.
