Christiano Matos started the match with the kick off. With an all-out effort, Ique Football Club's Angelo Peruzzi threw himself towards the right post 2 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Joélson de Andrade, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When Christiano Matos fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ique Football Club's protests and gave Christiano Matos a yellow card for diving instead. In the 11th minute, Christiano Matos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Christiano Matos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Angelo Peruzzi made a huge save. Angelo Peruzzi was out of position in the 15 minute of play, and Edu de Godoi capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Edu de Godoi really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. If Franco Catena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 23rd minute Christiano Matos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelo Peruzzi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Aquile Azzurre's Angelo Peruzzi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joélson de Andrade in the 25th minute of play. In the 26th minute of the match Ique Football Club got a corner. FC Aquile Azzurre's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Armandinho de Barros ran over to the corner to take the kick. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Cosimo Rondinelli put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Virgílio Lima. The supporters of FC Aquile Azzurre booed when Ique Football Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Armandinho de Barros didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 34th minute, Alaa Felice left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Aquile Azzurre fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Anselmo Pellecchia's late challenge caught a Ique Football Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anselmo Pellecchia helped the player get up and apologised. In the 37th match minute, FC Aquile Azzurre was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anselmo Pellecchia to maneuver through the defense. Carmine Gori's late challenge caught a Ique Football Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Carmine Gori helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, FC Aquile Azzurre's Carmine Gori got a free kick in the 39th minute. Alaa Felice received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Virgílio Lima tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

Concetto Foni kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Edu de Godoi took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 52nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Angelo Peruzzi. FC Aquile Azzurre's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Alaa Felice received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Virgílio Lima tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Virgílio Lima made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matteo Guendouz in the 63rd minute of play. In the 65th minute, Alaa Felice hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Virgílio Lima took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alaa Felice, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rafael Pena lost his temper 69 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 70th match minute, Ique Football Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rafael Pena to maneuver through the defense. Alaa Felice fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Virgílio Lima having to interfere. The supporters of FC Aquile Azzurre booed when Ique Football Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christiano Matos didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC Aquile Azzurre's Angelo Peruzzi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christiano Matos in the 77th minute of play. Franco Catena in the 79thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Virgílio Lima, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Ique Football Club were awarded a corner in the 82th minute after FC Aquile Azzurre's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Armandinho de Barros took the corner. The corner led Ique Football Club's Armandinho de Barros to fire away a dangerous shot which Angelo Peruzzi despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 85th minute, FC Aquile Azzurre's Alaa Felice dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-4. Fabiano de Amaral recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 95 minutes into the match, FC Aquile Azzurre's goal looked a bit too open when Christiano Matos came free, but Angelo Peruzzi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. FC Aquile Azzurre had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
