The audience thought a goal was coming when Leonel Ereinotz got free with Waldo Hills in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Emanuel Frichoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eliseo Cavazos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Atletico Patoruzu's Goliath Mediano got a free kick in the 20th minute. Atletico Patoruzu's Waldo Hills proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Atletico Patoruzu from getting a goal against them. In the 24th minute, Luciano Ioritz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 28th match minute, Club Floresta Manda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diego Telesforo to maneuver through the defense. Denis Domeka lost his temper 31 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 31st minute, one of Club Floresta Manda:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Club Floresta Manda. After 40 played minutes Atletico Patoruzu got a freekick which was hit by Goliath Mediano. Diego Telesforo hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Leonel Ereinotz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Floresta Manda's supporters rose to their feet, but Leonel Ereinotz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Waldo Hills breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eliseo Cavazos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Daniel Cetino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 50th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luciano Ioritz scored 1-0 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Waldo Hills, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Atletico Patoruzu's Goliath Gigante got a free kick in the 64th minute. In the 67thth minute of the game Daniel Cetino who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Atletico Patoruzu's Waldo Hills was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Club Floresta Manda's goalkeeper Emanuel Frichoso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 72 minutes into the game, Eliseo Cavazos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Emanuel Frichoso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Atletico Patoruzu's Waldo Hills played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luciano Ioritz in the 81st minute of play. Waldo Hills came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Floresta Manda's Daniel Cetino. But to his dismay, Daniel Cetino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. For all the effort they put into the match, the Atletico Patoruzu players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Club Floresta Manda.
