The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to BUZZIDA FC -DMZ- getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. BUZZIDA FC -DMZ-'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eliseo Cavazos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Douglas Tasso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliseo Cavazos in the 21st minute of the match. In the 28th minute Eric Malone shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Douglas Tasso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, BUZZIDA FC -DMZ-'s Alfredinho Dantas got a free kick in the 31st minute. Douglas Tasso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eliseo Cavazos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 33 played minutes Atletico Patoruzu got a freekick which was hit by Luke Youngblood. In the 33rd minute, Luke Youngblood shot a free kick towards goal which, to his disappointment, went just outside the left post. A collision led to Atletico Patoruzu getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Eric Malone hit a great ball. After 39 minutes, Dagoberto Pirani mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the BUZZIDA FC -DMZ- and the Atletico Patoruzu players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 39 played minutes BUZZIDA FC -DMZ- got a freekick which was hit by Dagoberto Pirani. After 43 played minutes BUZZIDA FC -DMZ- got a freekick which was hit by Ivo Donato. In the 47th match minute, Atletico Patoruzu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Goliath Gigante to maneuver through the defense. Alfredinho Dantas was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 48th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Felippe Sanches was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of BUZZIDA FC -DMZ- booed when Atletico Patoruzu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tyrell Cochran didn't get a good kick on the ball. The long shot by Alfredinho Dantas in the 59th minute really tested Waldo Hills's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 65th minute Goliath Mediano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Douglas Tasso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 69 minutes into the game, Luke Youngblood cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Douglas Tasso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Connor Marrero managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atletico Patoruzu's supporters rose to their feet, but Connor Marrero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Douglas Tasso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 74 minutes into the game, Ivo Donato was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. BUZZIDA FC -DMZ-'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Atletico Patoruzu the free kick. Ivo Donato kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Douglas Tasso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliseo Cavazos in the 78th minute of play. Waldo Hills showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dagoberto Pirani in the 81st minute of the match. Douglas Tasso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Connor Marrero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Atletico Patoruzu's Luke Youngblood got a free kick in the 92nd minute. BUZZIDA FC -DMZ-'s Douglas Tasso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Goliath Mediano in the 94th minute of play.
