Connor Marrero charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Connor Marrero the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of HORIZZONT booed when Atletico Patoruzu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Connor Marrero didn't get a good kick on the ball. 5 minutes into the match, Atletico Patoruzu's goal looked a bit too open when Nuh Sadreddin came free, but Waldo Hills reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rüştü Recber showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roosevelt Sullivan in the 6th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tyrell Cochran in the 12th minute of play forced HORIZZONT's goalkeeper Rüştü Recber to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 14th minute, one of HORIZZONT:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for HORIZZONT. In the 16th minute there was a penalty for Atletico Patoruzu. Goliath Pequeño stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Rüştü Recber. 0-1. Eric Malone's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rüştü Recber read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. 21 minutes had been played when some careless play by HORIZZONT's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Goliath Pequeño was slow to take the kick. During this time Atletico Patoruzu's players had a chance to rest. The corner led to Atletico Patoruzu's Connor Presley getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 25th minute, Jan Kratěna got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Goliath Gigante hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. 44 minutes had been played when some careless play by Atletico Patoruzu's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Nuh Sadreddin was slow to take the kick. During this time HORIZZONT's players had a chance to rest. In the 47th match minute, HORIZZONT was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arif Babürşah to maneuver through the defense. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 54thth minute of the game Jan Kratěna who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Atletico Patoruzu's Waldo Hills was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Arif Babürşah had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 56 minutes of play, HORIZZONT's Jan Kratěna made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Waldo Hills was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 59 minutes, Şaban Cumhur mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the HORIZZONT and the Atletico Patoruzu players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 63rd minute, Nuh Sadreddin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, HORIZZONT's Rüştü Recber got control of the ball when Luke Youngblood tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 67th minute Luke Youngblood shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rüştü Recber saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to HORIZZONT getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Şaban Cumhur hit a great ball. Nuh Sadreddin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Waldo Hills tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 75 minutes into the match, HORIZZONT's Jan Kratěna sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Waldo Hills narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of HORIZZONT booed when Atletico Patoruzu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eric Malone didn't get a good kick on the ball. 80 minutes into the game, Eren Cihaner cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Waldo Hills was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Calvin Rodriguez charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Calvin Rodriguez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arif Babürşah in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Waldo Hills prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Jan Kratěna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Waldo Hills took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arif Babürşah, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Many of Atletico Patoruzu's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Atletico Patoruzu may have spent more time on the ball, but HORIZZONT were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
