Fathi Abbas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mateo Terciero, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. The corner led to GuateFortín's Douglas Ayala getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. 17 minutes into the game, Ezequiel Peruanton was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. GuateFortín's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Salmiyah Power the free kick. The supporters of Salmiyah Power booed when GuateFortín was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ezequiel Peruanton didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Victor Valenzuela managed to get in a good position for a shot. GuateFortín's supporters rose to their feet, but Victor Valenzuela was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fathi Abbas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of GuateFortín booed when Salmiyah Power was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Boudjemaa Haddou didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ezequiel Peruanton was extremely unlucky when he, in the 30th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Carlos Navarro Montoya made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Halim Zeghdoud in the 32nd minute of play. Boughera Benmabrouk recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Carlos Navarro Montoya showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fadhil Meniri in the 38th minute of the match. In the 40th minute, Julio Asad got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. GuateFortín's Maurício Pellegrino was substituted for Victor Valenzuela. Samir Abdenouz placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out!

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Boughera Benmabrouk to strike the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the match, GuateFortín's goalkeeper Carlos Navarro Montoya had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Halim Zeghdoud. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mateo Terciero in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fathi Abbas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Douglas Ayala hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. The supporters of Salmiyah Power booed when GuateFortín was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maurício Pellegrino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Samir Abdenouz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Carlos Navarro Montoya made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Salmiyah Power's zone, Patricio Alvarado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fathi Abbas came out of the goal and Patricio Alvarado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. GuateFortín's Patricio Villacorta was substituted for Abraham Santamaria. The supporters of Salmiyah Power booed when GuateFortín was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Douglas Ayala didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Samir Abdenouz got free with Carlos Navarro Montoya in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sebastião Madureira took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 70th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Fathi Abbas. Salmiyah Power's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 71 played minutes Salmiyah Power got a freekick which was hit by Khalida Zouba. Salmiyah Power made a substitution. Nouara Medjani replaced Khalida Zouba. After 73 played minutes Salmiyah Power got a freekick which was hit by Khalida Zouba. Fathi Abbas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ferenc Sárközi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 76 minutes into the match, Salmiyah Power's goal looked a bit too open when Mateo Terciero came free, but Fathi Abbas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 79 minutes into the match, Fadhil Meniri notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of GuateFortín's Carlos Navarro Montoya. Carlos Navarro Montoya was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 82 minutes into the match, GuateFortín's Mateo Terciero sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fathi Abbas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Salmiyah Power's Rabah Messaoudi got a free kick in the 84th minute. Ferenc Sárközi charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ferenc Sárközi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When the final whistle sounded Salmiyah Power left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than GuateFortín.
