Angelo Pallotta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 2nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leszek Pruss having to interfere. In the 4th minute, Miroslaw Logewnik made a precise shot to the right of Dennis Urbani. XMAS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After having played for 7 minutes, Angelo Pallotta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. XMAS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Angelo Pallotta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In a very dangerous position, a player in Goral Zywiec fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 10th minute. Penalty! Goral Zywiec:s Leszek Pruss showed great skill when he stopped Ennio De Nardis:s penalty. The supporters of XMAS booed when Goral Zywiec was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miroslaw Logewnik didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 14th match minute, XMAS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angelo Pallotta to maneuver through the defense. If Miroslaw Logewnik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Angelo Pallotta charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Angelo Pallotta the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to XMAS getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Angelo Pallotta hit a great ball. When Miroslaw Logewnik came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Goral Zywiec fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Miroslaw Logewnik couldn't finish the play. In the 23rd minute Angelo Pallotta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leszek Pruss saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, Sebastian Bentkowski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dennis Urbani. XMAS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sebastian Bentkowski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Sebastian Pyrtek's late challenge caught a XMAS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sebastian Pyrtek helped the player get up and apologised. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ennio De Nardis got free with Leszek Pruss in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Sebastian Bentkowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 34 minutes into the game, Miroslaw Logewnik cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Dennis Urbani was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Leszek Pruss made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Angelo Pallotta sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as XMAS's Ennio De Nardis slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Leszek Pruss. That made the score 1-3 after 38 minutes of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 42nd minute of the game. One of XMAS:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Goral Zywiec:s goal. In the 44th minute there was a penalty for Goral Zywiec. Julian Adamus stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Dennis Urbani. 1-4. Fryderyk Zacharzewski kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
XMAS's Dennis Urbani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miroslaw Logewnik in the 54th minute of play. Miroslaw Logewnik blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dennis Urbani having to make a save. 60 minutes into the match, Sebastian Bentkowski dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Dennis Urbani, 1-6. In the 63rd match minute, Goral Zywiec was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastian Bentkowski to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Goral Zywiec's zone, Enzo Alfonsi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leszek Pruss came out of the goal and Enzo Alfonsi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Angelo Pallotta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leszek Pruss having to interfere. In the 78th minute Miroslaw Logewnik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dennis Urbani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enzo Alfonsi in the 79th minute of play forced Goral Zywiec's goalkeeper Leszek Pruss to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Goral Zywiec's Wincenty Kaszubowski got a free kick in the 88th minute. With a little luck, XMAS's Dennis Urbani got control of the ball when Miroslaw Logewnik tried to sneak it across the goal line. Angelo Pallotta struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Leszek Pruss didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for XMAS. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Goral Zywiec walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
