In the 17th minute Samir Abdenouz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damazy Popowicz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aureliusz Basinski got free with Fathi Abbas in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aureliusz Basinski in the 27th minute of play forced Salmiyah Power's goalkeeper Fathi Abbas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Mitschullen SSA players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Salmiyah Power were winning 1-2.

Boughera Benmabrouk received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Damazy Popowicz came out and tried to block the shot, but Boughera Benmabrouk slotted it home off the left post making it 1-4 in the 75th minute. In the 83rdth minute of the game Aureliusz Basinski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Salmiyah Power's Fathi Abbas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Donato Tabor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 90thth minute of the game Aureliusz Basinski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Salmiyah Power's Fathi Abbas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Aureliusz Basinski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mitschullen SSA's supporters rose to their feet, but Aureliusz Basinski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fathi Abbas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match clock showed 96 minutes, the score became 2-4 when Aureliusz Basinski sped through Salmiyah Power's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Fathi Abbas. Salmiyah Power's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
