The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Traian Tiţe fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kobra TEAM's protests and gave Traian Tiţe a yellow card for diving instead. Traian Tiţe hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Mané Barreto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alex Breckenfeld, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Erberk Tunçkol hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. The supporters of E. C. Flamengo Paraibano booed when Kobra TEAM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aurel Opincaru didn't get a good kick on the ball. Corneliu Ţurcaş charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Corneliu Ţurcaş the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Corneliu Ţurcaş kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Junior Kobra had in the 27thth minute some difficulties stopping Albin Anundsson's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. When Cristian Ozon came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Kobra TEAM fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Ozon couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jairo Lenzi in the 43rd minute of play forced E. C. Flamengo Paraibano's goalkeeper Mané Barreto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zdzislaw Kajdasz hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. In the 47th match minute, E. C. Flamengo Paraibano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernardinho Vaz to maneuver through the defense. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

In the 52nd minute Albin Anundsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Junior Kobra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Junior Kobra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erberk Tunçkol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 60 minutes into the match, Kobra TEAM's goal looked a bit too open when Albin Anundsson came free, but Junior Kobra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 63 played minutes Kobra TEAM got a freekick which was hit by Alex Breckenfeld. When Jorginho Lago fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Kobra TEAM's Corneliu Ţurcaş slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Mané Barreto. That made the score 0-2 after 91 minutes of play. Thomás Loureiro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Junior Kobra having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Thomás Loureiro in the 97th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Junior Kobra prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Thomás Loureiro in the 98th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Junior Kobra saved Kobra TEAM from getting behind.
