Spectators: 7669 (Terracing: 5752, Seating: 1764, VIP seats: 153) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ralph Peeters started the match with the kick off. Ralph Peeters received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Maximiliano Astudillo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 20 minutes into the match, Verwachting's goalkeeper Casper Enting had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Manuel Cordera. SAN MARTIN F.C.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Bernardino Ospin in the 21st minute. Casper Enting made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Manuel Cordera sent off a good shot on target. Maximiliano Astudillo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerrit Melis, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. In the 35th minute, Oscar Vaalman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Verwachting fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After having played for 38 minutes, Ralph Peeters managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Verwachting's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ralph Peeters was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 41st minute, Gerrit Melis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Maximiliano Astudillo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. The SAN MARTIN F.C. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Verwachting were winning 0-2.

Simon Canor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Casper Enting having to interfere. SAN MARTIN F.C.'s Maximiliano Astudillo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save SAN MARTIN F.C. from getting a goal against them. Oscar Vaalman received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Maximiliano Astudillo came out and tried to block the shot, but Oscar Vaalman slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 56th minute. With a little luck, SAN MARTIN F.C.'s Maximiliano Astudillo got control of the ball when Gerrit Melis tried to sneak it across the goal line. Verwachting's Oscar Vaalman got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gerrit Melis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Maximiliano Astudillo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Domenik Kromkamp could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Maximiliano Astudillo made a huge save. Alejandro Mendebal kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. 85 minutes into the game, Verwachting's Oscar Vaalman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Maximiliano Astudillo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Maximiliano Astudillo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ralph Peeters, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. If Gerrit Melis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Verwachting played a much better game than SAN MARTIN F.C. and deserved their victory. The SAN MARTIN F.C. players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
