An unexpectedly hard shot by Abelardo Roland in the 27th minute of play forced Froghino's goalkeeper Klaus Gryc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 28 minutes Froghino's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Bernardino Ospin who took care of the corner kick. SAN MARTIN F.C.'s Bernardino Ospin was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Klaus Gryc in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Maximiliano Astudillo stood somewhat misplaced when Adam Ries came free in front of goal and shot 4-1 to the left of him in the 30 minute. When Froghino's Adam Ries in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Adam Ries charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adam Ries the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 45th minute, Adam Ries hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Abelardo Roland made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in SAN MARTIN F.C.'s zone, Erik Lindholm stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maximiliano Astudillo came out of the goal and Erik Lindholm tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gilbert Manduca scored 7-1 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Maximiliano Astudillo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gilbert Manduca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximiliano Astudillo having to interfere. The supporters of Froghino booed when SAN MARTIN F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abelardo Roland didn't get a good kick on the ball. SAN MARTIN F.C.'s Maximiliano Astudillo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilbert Manduca in the 74th minute of play. Alvaro Eufrasio charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Yoncho Vladislavov took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 96th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Maximiliano Astudillo. SAN MARTIN F.C.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Froghino fully deserved thier win.
