Klaus Gryc took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oscar Vaalman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Froghino's Gilbert Manduca got his second yellow card of the match in the 15th minute. The referee ordered Gilbert Manduca off the ground. The supporters of Verwachting booed when Froghino was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilbert Manduca didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 18th minute, Verwachting's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Erik Lindholm fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Erik Lindholm might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Casper Enting. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Erik Lindholm ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 58th minute, Adam Ries left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Froghino fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. 64 minutes into the game, Oscar Vaalman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. When Froghino's Erik Lindholm in 82 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Casper Enting guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erik Lindholm in the 86th minute of play forced Verwachting's goalkeeper Casper Enting to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 88th minute Ron Lammers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Klaus Gryc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
