Spectators: 7686 (Terracing: 5765, Seating: 1768, VIP seats: 153) Verwachting's Ron Lammers started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Casper Enting showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudio Ruggeri, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Claudio Ruggeri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 13th minute of the match Verwachting got a corner. Zola Predosa FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Franck Bakhuis ran over to the corner to take the kick. Casper Enting stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Claudio Ruggeri's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. With his leg Biagio Sessa managed to avoid a goal in the 22ndth minute, when Verwachting's Oscar Vaalman fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Zola Predosa FC's Biagio Sessa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Zola Predosa FC from getting a goal against them. Biagio Sessa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerrit Melis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Casper Enting made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudio Ruggeri in the 28th minute of play. After 31 played minutes Verwachting got a freekick which was hit by Franck Bakhuis. In the 35th minute, Zola Predosa FC's Cesare Toto seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Cesare Toto the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Zola Predosa FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Cesare Toto had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 34th minute of the game. One of Zola Predosa FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Verwachting:s goal. In the last second Biagio Sessa throw himself and got hold of the ball when Ron Lammers in the 39thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. In the 40th minute of the match, Oscar Vaalman got a very nice opportunity to score, but Biagio Sessa was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Biagio Sessa made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Gerrit Melis sent off a good shot on target. Biagio Sessa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gerrit Melis in the 43rd minute. Oscar Vaalman's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Biagio Sessa firmly grabbed it by the left post. Cristoforo Censi charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cristoforo Censi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 45 played minutes Zola Predosa FC got a freekick which was hit by Cristoforo Censi. Zola Predosa FC's Biagio Sessa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save Zola Predosa FC from getting a goal against them. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Dino Cala kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Oscar Vaalman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Biagio Sessa was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. Biagio Sessa came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Verwachting's Ron Lammers. But to his dismay, Ron Lammers quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Zola Predosa FC's Biagio Sessa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerrit Melis in the 61st minute of play. 62 minutes into the match, Zola Predosa FC's goal looked a bit too open when Oscar Vaalman came free, but Biagio Sessa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Emiliano Bertoni during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Verwachting's Franck Bakhuis couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 64th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Zola Predosa FC. Oscar Vaalman scored 2-0 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Biagio Sessa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Zola Predosa FC's zone, Ron Lammers stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Biagio Sessa came out of the goal and Ron Lammers tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 78th minute, Gerrit Melis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Biagio Sessa was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. After 82 played minutes Zola Predosa FC got a freekick which was hit by Dino Cala. Dino Teodori could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Casper Enting made a huge save. After having played for 87 minutes, Dino Teodori managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zola Predosa FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dino Teodori was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 94th minute, Dino Cala reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Casper Enting. The goal made the score 3-1.
