Casper Enting showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximiliano Astudillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. The supporters of Verwachting booed when SAN MARTIN F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jairo Ritchie didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Oscar Vaalman got free with Ernesto Hibai in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Verwachting's Ron Lammers slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ernesto Hibai. That made the score 1-0 after 11 minutes of play. After 14 played minutes SAN MARTIN F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Abelardo Roland. When Ron Lammers came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Verwachting fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ron Lammers couldn't finish the play. 17 minutes into the match, Oscar Vaalman notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of SAN MARTIN F.C.'s Ernesto Hibai. Ernesto Hibai was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jairo Ritchie kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. In the 24th minute, Ron Lammers fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Ernesto Hibai, passed just outside the right post. Oscar Vaalman might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ernesto Hibai. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Oscar Vaalman ran back to his position shaking his head. Ernesto Hibai was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gerrit Melis showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 25 minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Ron Lammers kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ernesto Hibai. That made the score 4-0 in the 31 minute of play. Jairo Ritchie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Casper Enting having to interfere. Verwachting's Ron Lammers got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Oscar Vaalman got free with Ernesto Hibai in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jairo Ritchie to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Oscar Vaalman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ernesto Hibai. SAN MARTIN F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Oscar Vaalman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Ron Lammers blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ernesto Hibai having to make a save. Ron Lammers recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aureliano Odilon kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. In the 68thth minute of the game Ron Lammers who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SAN MARTIN F.C.'s Ernesto Hibai was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ernesto Hibai stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Oscar Vaalman's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. Verwachting's Casper Enting proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Verwachting from getting a goal against them. In the 74th minute, Oscar Vaalman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ernesto Hibai was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. 79 minutes into the game, Oscar Vaalman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Ernesto Hibai was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Ron Lammers managed to get in a good position for a shot. Verwachting's supporters rose to their feet, but Ron Lammers was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ernesto Hibai breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. SAN MARTIN F.C.'s Ernesto Hibai played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ron Lammers in the 90th minute of play. If Oscar Vaalman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Verwachting getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Oscar Vaalman hit a great ball. Verwachting walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
