In the 21st minute, Oséas Branco ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ernesto Hibai was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Oséas Branco in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ernesto Hibai prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Oséas Branco in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ernesto Hibai saved SAN MARTIN F.C. from getting behind. Ernesto Hibai stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Oséas Branco's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Oséas Brancos short, quick shot in the 52ndth minute got Ernesto Hibai to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. SAN MARTIN F.C.'s Ernesto Hibai proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save SAN MARTIN F.C. from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Oséas Branco got free with Ernesto Hibai in the 98th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
