The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 61st minute of the game. One of Plebeyos:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of RÖK:s goal. Carlos Manuel Goyeneche went to the wrong direction when Gilson Dionísio was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. In the 71st minute Cesinha Marquez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Manuel Goyeneche saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 72 minutes into the match, RÖK's goal looked a bit too open when Primitivo Eguen came free, but Yan Pirani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Plebeyos's Moises Socorro was substituted for Serafino Justin. Dé Guedes charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dé Guedes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 89 played minutes RÖK got a freekick which was hit by Dé Guedes. Plebeyos's Carlos Manuel Goyeneche played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Júlio Varela in the 93rd minute of play. Primitivo Eguen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Yan Pirani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in RÖK's zone, Primitivo Eguen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yan Pirani came out of the goal and Primitivo Eguen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Chants of Plebeyos echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as RÖK had held the ball for most of the match.
