In the 37th minute, Eusebio Veronica left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Acratas Unidos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Eusebio Veronica managed to get in a good position for a shot. Acratas Unidos's supporters rose to their feet, but Eusebio Veronica was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Honorato Ihintza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Omar Montes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Candido Quinteros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When German Pezzella fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Yala's protests and gave German Pezzella a yellow card for diving instead. After recieving a nice pass, Acratas Unidos's Eusebio Veronica tried to score from far away in the 55th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Omar Montes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Candido Quinteros read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. When Fabian Sazon fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Acratas Unidos's protests and gave Fabian Sazon a yellow card for diving instead. Fabian Sazon kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Jonathan Handi in the 61stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Honorato Ihintza, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eusebio Veronica in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Honorato Ihintza saved Yala from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Jonathan Handi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Honorato Ihintza was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. Jonathan Handi did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-4 to the left of a surprised Honorato Ihintza 66 minutes into the match. Eusebio Veronica who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 70thth minute tested the skills of Honorato Ihintza when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Teo Gau managed to get in a good position for a shot. Yala's supporters rose to their feet, but Teo Gau was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Candido Quinteros breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 89th minute Teo Gau shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Candido Quinteros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Omar Montes in the 91st minute of play forced Acratas Unidos's goalkeeper Candido Quinteros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 92nd minute Niki Bundev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Candido Quinteros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Yala's Teo Gau got a free kick in the 96th minute. Acratas Unidos played a much better game than Yala and deserved their victory. The Yala players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
