A collision led to Yala getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. German Pezzella hit a great ball. Honorato Ihintza made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Cecilio Felipillo sent off a good shot on target. Yala's Honorato Ihintza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eusebio Veronica in the 29th minute of play. After some careless play in the Yala defense, Cecilio Felipillo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Honorato Ihintza. The Yala fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Honorato Ihintza should have stopped the shot. Eusebio Veronica was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 33rd minute. Acratas Unidos's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After 35 played minutes Acratas Unidos got a freekick which was hit by Fabian Sazon. In the 36th minute Niki Bundev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Candido Quinteros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With his leg Honorato Ihintza managed to avoid a goal in the 46thth minute, when Acratas Unidos's Eusebio Veronica fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Fabian Sazon charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fabian Sazon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Acratas Unidos getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Fabian Sazon hit a great ball. Moises Bermund kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Jonathan Handi kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. 63 minutes into the match, Acratas Unidos's goalkeeper Candido Quinteros had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Niki Bundev. Yala's Honorato Ihintza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eusebio Veronica in the 65th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eusebio Veronica in the 72nd minute of play forced Yala's goalkeeper Honorato Ihintza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Yala booed when Acratas Unidos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mario Berart didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jorge Nesor during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Honorato Ihintza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eusebio Veronica, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Despite being the better team, Yala failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
