Spectators: 7658 (Terracing: 5745, Seating: 1761, VIP seats: 152) Darin Ermenkov made the kick off and thus started the match. Jewel Coats kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Qikiqtarjuaq FC's Junior Stover got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 8 played minutes Botev Plovdiv 1912 got a freekick which was hit by Bratan Vladikov. After 9 played minutes Botev Plovdiv 1912 got a freekick which was hit by Valko Mitin. Botev Plovdiv 1912's Ivan Kmetov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruce Morin in the 14th minute of play. In the 15th minute of the match Qikiqtarjuaq FC got a corner. Botev Plovdiv 1912's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Earl Croteau ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Botev Plovdiv 1912's goalie and right to Moses Daniel. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Botev Plovdiv 1912's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 20th match minute, Qikiqtarjuaq FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reginald Dickerson to maneuver through the defense. Ivan Kmetov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Junior Stover, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bruce Morin might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ivan Kmetov. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bruce Morin ran back to his position shaking his head. After 27 played minutes Botev Plovdiv 1912 got a freekick which was hit by Vasil Shterionov. After a rather tough play, Botev Plovdiv 1912's Vencho Ushkolov got a free kick in the 30th minute. After 35 minutes of play, Qikiqtarjuaq FC's Bruce Morin made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ivan Kmetov was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bratan Vladikov's late challenge caught a Qikiqtarjuaq FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bratan Vladikov helped the player get up and apologised. In the 40th match minute, Botev Plovdiv 1912 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bratan Vladikov to maneuver through the defense. When Bruce Morin came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Qikiqtarjuaq FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bruce Morin couldn't finish the play. Mario Dostie blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ivan Kmetov having to make a save. The Botev Plovdiv 1912 players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Qikiqtarjuaq FC were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bruce Morin made a kick off. If Bruce Morin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Valko Mitin might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jason Achin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Valko Mitin ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Botev Plovdiv 1912's Vencho Ushkolov got a free kick in the 64th minute. Bruce Morin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruce Morin in the 73rd minute of play forced Botev Plovdiv 1912's goalkeeper Ivan Kmetov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bruce Morin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Qikiqtarjuaq FC booed when Botev Plovdiv 1912 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zlatin Baldev didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 89th match minute, Qikiqtarjuaq FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reginald Dickerson to maneuver through the defense. Ivan Kmetov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruce Morin in the 94th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Qikiqtarjuaq FC's Bruce Morin got a free kick in the 95th minute. Qikiqtarjuaq FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
