The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Omar Montes to strike the kick off in the second half. Omar Montes who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 52ndth minute tested the skills of Nathan Barbot when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Honorato Ihintza guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. 81 minutes into the game, Yala's Niki Bundev nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nathan Barbot made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Omar Montes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Nathan Barbot made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Omar Montes during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
