When 杨奕翔 fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ≮王者归来≯匪匪占山为王's protests and gave 杨奕翔 a yellow card for diving instead. 37 minutes into the match, ≮王者归来≯匪匪占山为王's goalkeeper 柳远川 had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Caio Boldrini. Carlos Augusto Recife showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 吴辰卫 in the 41st minute of the match. In the 43rd minute 柯彬思 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Augusto Recife saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 柳远川 stood somewhat misplaced when Caio Boldrini came free in front of goal and shot 4-0 to the left of him in the 45 minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. 楚森星 was the one to do the kick off. Caio Boldrini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 柳远川 having to interfere. 柳远川 stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Caio Boldrini's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. 62 minutes into the game, Amadeo Tuste cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. 柳远川 was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Palmeiras made a substitution. Rodriguinho Carneiro replaced Artur Fonelleda. If Adriano Cunha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. Carlos Augusto Recife was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A wasted opportunity for Palmeiras. 蒋南峰's late challenge caught a Palmeiras's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. Caio Boldrini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ernesto Quin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 柳远川 having to interfere. Palmeiras walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
